Save the Strays of Schuylkill secures appointments and offers transports to various clinics to help get your pets and colony cats neutered and spayed.
The clinics we work with offer the following during your appointment. We are not a veterinary clinic, we do not have a vet in our organization. We are a rescue / foster organization, that offer transports to clinics and TNR as a community outreach program.
Pet Neuter: $70 Pet Spay $90
1 year Rabies vaccine / FVRCP
De-wormer & Flea Treatment
EAR TIP Neuter: $60 EAR TIP Spay $75

During your cat's appointment a medical exam is completed to ensure cat is well enough for procedure, included in the cost of surgery.
Add On Services Available:
FeLV/FIV (feline leukemia/AIDS) test: $30
Microchip: $25 at time of surgery
ALL CATS for these clinics are to be in small hard carriers, each cat must have it's own carrier.
Transport donation. We are a non-profit and we provide transports to the clinics, the costs do not reflect transportation to the clinics. We kindly ask that you make a donation for transporting your cats to your appointments for you.
*** Donation Suggested $5 per cat.
Some clinics we are able to secure special appointments for colony / community cats.
These appointments - prices vary by clinic slightly but are on average $ 50 to $ 60. These clinics have strict only trap policy.
If find yourself needing help with TNR. We can come out and give you a quick lesson. Our schedules are so full that by us showing you the basics, you can become a trapper which frees us up to help the next person or group.
Need a trap. We can loan traps, but prefer if you purchase them at Tractor Supply. They have a combo set 2 traps for only $39.99. And once your done with trap, if you would like to donate them, we would love to add to our equipment inventory.
