Updated. 08/24/25 Public Service Announcement:
We hate making this post, and we don't want anyone to take it the wrong way. We are trying to help as many as we can, but we can not take in every cat and kitten. We have had so many messages lately starting help I've trapped a cat, or can you take this stray I took in? There is a cat ... 🐾
We have been over full since spring 2024, and until we lower our foster numbers, we can not take in every stray that comes our way.🏘 All of our foster homes are in family homes, and people are willing to share their home and time with our cats and kittens. Almost all of them also work part or full-time jobs.
We can help spay/neuter, and we do go case by case, in our service area, Schuylkill County. Please DO NOT trap a cat without an appointment. Please DO NOT take in a stray unless you are going to keep or foster them, vet them, and spay or nueter when due. We have lost foster homes, and we are in great need of additional foster homes (temporary and permanent), transport drivers for clinics, and for wellness checks to vet, volunteers to help at meet and greet events, and donation runners.🚘
Yes, we have cats getting homes, but just because 1 or 2 cats or kittens have left doesn't mean we have space. We are so thankful for each and every adoption.🐈⬛
On average, we have 38
& kittens and 135 cats in fosters, any given day, and during kitten season,we have been full since sprinf of 2024. 🐈
We do not have a facility like other rescues. We rely on our generous volunteers to house our precious furbabies. We are a grassroots rescue that started almost 16 years ago with a gal that just wanted to help cats. 💜💜💜
And for being a small rescue, our reach is great. We will add some statistics on adoptions, tnrs, and such shortly.

We also will be adding links to others' resources.
Thank you for your continued support, and we are hopeful that we can open the doors soon with more volunteers and foster homes. 🐈🐈🐈⬛
